Work With Us

How can Sea Fans help you?

At Sea Fans, we recognise that marine conservation comes in all different shapes and sizes. From hands-on volunteer projects to signing petitions, or from awareness campaigns to making wise seafood choices, Sea Fans is a one-stop shop for all things to do with helping the ocean, no matter how small.

If you have a project, an experience, an idea that helps the ocean in one way or another, then we want to hear from you. After all, by helping you promote your ocean-friendly idea, we’re ultmately helping the ocean.

Below are some of the ways that you can get involved with Sea Fans. If any of them take your fancy, or if you’ve thought of something we haven’t covered, simply get in touch using the contact form below.

Promote yourself on Sea Fans for free

Are you doing something cool to help the ocean and want help promoting your work? We are constantly adding new listings to Sea Fans and we’d love to include you. It costs nothing to add a listing, and we’ll even give you a mention on social media.

Sharing is Caring

Help us spread the word about marine conservation by telling your friends and family about Sea Fans. The more we share, the more people will discover all the amazing ways that they can get involved in ocean conservation.

And the more people getting involved, well, the greater the impact we can have on the ocean’s future.

Leave a Review

Have you done an awesome marine wildlife spotting trip, or found and bought a marine-themed gift? Perhaps, you’ve watched a wonderous documentary, or you’ve volunteered on a great marine conservation project? Whatever you learnt, did, bought, or experienced, leave a review and let other Sea Fans know what it was like.

Simply search for the listing in question, then scroll down to the bottom where you can add a review.

Or, if you’ve got an ocean-friendly idea that would make a great listing, but it’s not on the directory, then get in touch and we’ll add it.

Write for Sea Fans

Whatever your passion for the marine environment we would love to read about it. Do you have a listing on our site you want to promote further, or an upcoming event? Did you have an inspiring marine experience? Or have you started a petition and you’re looking for more signatures?

As long as your overal goal is protecting the sea, then join Sea Fans as a guest blogger. We’ll ensure your article is promoted through social media, and you’ll be credited with a link to your own website (if you have one).

Showcase your Photos

Are you a keen photographer with an eye for marine life, or seascapes? Do you take awesome macro shots of nudis or wide-angled shots of somersaulting dolphins? Would you like to see your work being used to promote marine conservation?

Sea Fans needs quality, unique photos to help showcase our listings and blog articles. We currently use royalty-free images or those taken from our listing owners.

If you’d like to use your talent for good, then we will help to promote you through social media and blog posts. We’ll also credit you with a link to your own website (if you have one).

We’ve mapped new dive sites and helped create and maintain Marine Protected Areas. We’ve worked closely with local communities to bring awareness of marine and terrestrial conservation, such as holding activity sessions for children, or organising community events such as beach clean-ups, and much more…

We’ve supported the management of several dive shops worldwide, including 5-star IDCs & resorts. We’ve certified over 200 students in PADI and SSI courses from DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) right up to Divemaster level.
